A prerequisite of using the GreenSite Pass application (the “Application”) is reading the following Terms of Services and accepting them. The usage of the Application is a declaration of the user on reading, understanding and acceptance to those terms.

Using the Application

GreenSite Pass is an open source project (hereinafter: the “System”) that offers use subject to the following terms (hereinafter: the “Terms of Use”) and the Privacy Policy.

Using the system is subject to the conditions in force at the time of use. The terms may be changed from time to time, in which case service users will be notified.

The Service

GreenSite Pass is used to register entrances to businesses or places – usually crowded and / or with a significant number of visitors.

The System is anonymous, also suitable for those without telephones and allows you to easily divide each complex into a large number of sub-complexes (such as: a group of tables in a restaurant or a train car) to reduce the amount of quarantines and focus on testing appropriate contacts.

Using the System for visitors does not require the installation of an application, but only a connection to a web form simply pushing the “Check-in” button.

The System makes it possible to quickly cut off infection chains and improve the safety of the business and visitors.

The system allows

For users – easy registration, in an anonymous and accurate way of visits to businesses, organizations and even a meeting place in a one-time and multi-participant event.

The information

The registration of visits to each business is using an anonymous personal ID number, this ID undergoes separate and different encryption between the various businesses hence has a different value for each business place.

The system does not use information about the user’s location and traffic routes, nor does it maintain proximity to other telephones.

The system does not keep track of visits per user (not even to the anonymous user), but documents entries separately for each business.

Information about visits to a business beyond the 21-day time window is deleted.

The use of information

While a new patient is reported in the system, his/her encrypted IDs (separate encryptions between businesses) are displayed in a database as part of a large and additional group of many other encrypted IDs, most of which are redundant and intended for an additional layer of privacy protection. Each business reads and compares the encrypted IDs to its local records and thus produces a local list of encrypted contacts made at the business for the purpose of sending alerts. The alerts will be sent to the phone number used for this purpose. The same “Alert phone number” can serve several people.

The system does not replace official government or health authority messages. The service does not include medical advice, directly or indirectly, but is intended to help all users know as soon as possible if they have been exposed to a COVID-19 infected person.

GreenSite Pass does not make any commercial use of any personal information.

The system was developed as a service to the public by volunteers and an association for making public information accessible (the “Public Knowledge Workshop” a NPO in Israel) with the intention of creating an effective tool and widely used to fight the corona pandemic.

Limitation of liability and liability

GreenSite Pass provides the system “as is” (“AS IS”). GreenSite Pass will not be liable for any direct and / or indirect damage and / or loss that may be caused as a result of using the system not in accordance with the guidelines, or relying on the information exclusively – in violation of the terms of use. Or inability to use the system in full or in part due to technological or other limitations, or for any other reason.

GreenSite Pass will do its best to maintain the availability and stability of the service and secure information security depending on the quality of the information collected, but the nature of the new solution and the existing circumstances make it clear to the user that GreenSite Pass will not be able to completely guarantee service availability and delivery.

However, GreenSite Pass will not be liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from a malfunction of the system, or from using the system in violation of the Terms of Use.

A user who has received a notification from the system about his exposure to an infected person is advised to verify this through the locations and dates of exposure to Covid-19 positive that are updated on the Ministry of Health website.

The data presented in the system is based on data and reports, some of which are based on the use of other users, and may be inaccurate, or contain partial and even incorrect information, due to various limitations, so GreenSite Pass will not be responsible for the accuracy of the information.

The user declares and confirms that he will not have any reliance claim and / or other claim arising from the use of the service, and that he will use it according to the terms of use and the privacy statement and while understanding its limitations.

Changes

GreenSite Pass reserves the exclusive right to remove the entire system and / or restrict its use or change the structure of the system from time to time.
